Will Ferris Bueller Make a Comeback in 2012 Super Bowl Ad?
The ad below shows Broderick saying, “How can I handle work on a day like today?” taken from the movie’s famous quote: “How can I possibly be expected to handle school on a day like this?” This short clip ends with the date 2/5/12, which just happens to be the date of the Super Bowl.
Is it really a new “Day Off” movie?
Although rumors are surfacing every minute, the company or product Broderick is advertising is unknown. Well, earlier this morning, car culture blog Jalopnik reported that the “Coming Soon” video is actually a teaser for a Honda commercial, not a new “Day Off.”
Let’s hope they are wrong!
It has been 26 years since Matthew Broderick played the role from the hit movie, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” Matthew Broderick is set to reprise his role as the beloved character Ferris Bueller in a Super Bowl ad this year. He hasn’t played the role from the hit movie in 26 years.
We hope it is new “Day Off” movie!
