Is the Facebook IPO price bubble going to burst?

Facebook IPO – To Buy or Not To Buy?Facebook IPO Stock Price

The Facebook IPO date is tomorrow and it will be insane! The Facebook IPO feeding frenzy is real and I believe that the stock price is going to skyrocket -at least initially. The question I have is not how high will the Facebook IPO price go but rather, how far will it fall after the spike and where will it level out?

The Facebook IPO Price

Facebook IPO share price is estimated to be around $34 to $38 a share, which is somewhat higher than previously anticipated by industry insiders. This increase has made many investors uneasy about investing in the Facebook IPO craze. When you combine the Facebook IPO stock price increase to the fact that several of the larger Facebook share holders have released information that they now plan on selling more Facebook shares than they initially reported. For example, Tiger Global increased the number of Facebook shares it will sell to 23.4 million shares, that is a huge increase from their initial number of 3.4 million shares and Goldman Sachs plans to sell 28.7 million Facebook shares, which is over double from their initial number of 13.2 million shares. The bottom line is that investors are planning on turning their “paper” wealth into cold hard cash and it’s all happening tomorrow!

To Buy or Not To Buy Facebook Stock

That is the question. Many are on the fence about whether or not they are going to buy Facebook IPO shares and who could blame them, I am. Just look at the Groupon phenom that has sucked millions of dollars out of overeager investor’s pockets. Proof that jumping in head first without checking the waters depth is deadly. I don’t believe that Facebook stock prices are going to crash like Groupon but that is just my personal opinion. I want to ride the social wave like many other investors out there but I am a bit worried about the fact that all waves crash on the beach somewhere. No one can say what the Facebook stock prices are going to do for sure, but the anticipation is overwhelming. However, I will be buying a very small amount of Facebook stock, just in case it decides to take off.
