Mountain Dew released never before seen content from the new movie The Dark Knight Rises. Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” hits theaters July 20th and thanks to Pepsi Co’s brand, Mountain Dew, Dark Knight fans have a chance to see exclusive content, win prizes and unlock a never before seen Dark Knight preview.
Batman: Dark Knight Rises “Locked” Preview
Mountain Dew released the website www.DewGothamCity.com to fans who are interested in getting a deeper look into the the Dark Knight series. The exclusive Dark Knight content is also said to help “bridge the eight-year gap between the trilogy’s second and third installment” which is rather exciting for all the Dark Knight fans like me. The website offers fans the chance to enter four Dark Knight environments including Applied Sciences lab, Gotham City Convenience Store, Gotham City Police Department and my personal favorite, the Bat Cave! Dew Gotham City’s Bat Cave is said to contain even more exclusive content and a never before seen Dark Knight preview which will remain locked until July 8th or until fans redeem 5 million Dark Knight Dew product codes. I don’t know about you, but I really want to see that preview so I am going to “Do the Dew” at lunch today today and redeem my Dark Knight Dew product codes to help unlock the preview.
Dark Knight Rises Product Placement
Warner Bros. is keeping fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation for the final chapter of the Dark Knight series. Mountain Dew is promoting their new Dark Berry Dew and new Dark Knight Rises trailers played during “The Avengers” theater previews. I have seen Dark Berry Mountain Dew advertised and when I started writing this article I wanted to try it for myself but the local store was all out! Very disappointing, however, the plot sickens. You might also hear about the Dark Knight Rises Nokia Lumia app, and I have posted a video review at the bottom of this article for you, but you will probably not be able to find it. Many users, including me, have not been able to download it. Even more disappointing. This is going to be a Dark Knight indeed.

The Dark Knight is not over yet!
In the Dark Knight Rises trailers we are reminded that this is going to be the “last” Dark Knight movie because the trailer clearly states “On July 20, The Epic Conclusion, To The Dark Knight Legend.” Although I already know what happens in the end of Dark Knight Rises I still think they will find a miraculous way to keep the series alive. I am not about to spoil the ending for you but I think we can all agree that there is no way Hollywood would walk away from a mega money generator like Batman. Sure it needs to rest for a bit and regain it’s strength, but I am sure that the Batman saga will rise again!

The Dark Knight Rises film is sure to have many product placements and you might want to keep a look out for Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 900. An exclusive Dark Knight Rises app is floating around the interwebs and it contains ringtones, exclusive Dark Knight games, and wallpapers for users to enjoy. However, it is not easy to find and many people, including me, are having trouble downloading it. Here is a review so you can see what we’re missing.
